SUMMARY:Lebanese Collegiate Programming Contest - LCPC-2022 (14th year)
DESCRIPTION:The 14th Lebanese Collegiate Programming Contest \n\n\nThe 14th Lebanese Collegiate Programming Competition (LCPC-2022) is being organized this year by the Syndicate of Computer Science in Lebanon\, in cooperation with the LCPC steering committee\, and is hosted by the American University of Beirut (AUB)\, Department of Computer Science\, on October 7th and 8th. A large number of Lebanese universities participate yearly in this contest\, which provides an excellent opportunity for students majoring in Computer Science or closely related fields to show their skills in programming and efficient problem solving methods. \n\n\nThe LCPC is a national version of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC). It serves as a qualifying round for the regional ICPC event (the Arab and African Collegiate Programming Contest) which is the final qualifying round for the World Finals. The Organizing Committee for LCPC 2022 is anticipating a successful event with a wide participation of all Lebanese higher education institutions. The best programmers and problem solvers in Lebanon will gather in this event\, known worldwide as the battle of the brains.  \n\n\nThe registration and the opening ceremony of LCPC 2022 will be held on Friday\, October 7\, 2022. Following that\, there will be a talk by a keynote speaker and a technical session going over the contest rules\, and finally\, a practice session. The actual contest will take place on Saturday\, October 8\, 2022. A lunch buffet will be provided during the contest. There will be an award ceremony where all participating teams will be recognized and the winning teams will be awarded valuable prizes.  \n\nSuccessful contestants often receive offers from the best IT companies\, locally and worldwide\, and they proved to be great assets to such high profile companies.
